Installing a Joomlashack template is done as any extension is installed in Joomla, using the Joomla installer in Admin >> Extensions >> Install/Uninstall

After installing the template it will be necessary to set it up using the available module positions and styles that are provided with this particular template. For more information, see the Documentation

JS Verdant takes advantage of several Joomla! 1.5 style overrides but also includes support for the commonly overlooked feature of alternate read more text. You can change your articles read more links with ease..
Within the article manager of Joomla! 1.5, in the Advanced parameters menu to the right is an "Alternative Read More text" field. With Verdant, you can specify something different here. This field will help with your site's SEO and Usability.
Modules are the blocks of content you see off to the side of the main content area. Verdant doses not come with any color styles for modules.
The Top menu setup is very simple and straightforward. Choose an existing menu module or create a new one from within the Module Manager (Extensions>Module Manager). In the parameters and details boxes, make sure your menu module's settings are as follows..
Verdant allows you to easily set the content flow/layout of the your site! In the template parameters you can customize the ordering of your content flow. There are 3 styles available: LMR, LRM, and MLR.
In the Template Manager there is a "Column Layout" option to set the layout to:
- Left, middle, right
- Middle, left, right
- Left, right, middle
Changing a template's logo is probably the first thing you'll want to do when you get started fitting this template into your site.
To change the header preferences of the template, login to your Joomla! administration and click on Extensions > Template Manager.
